**SPECIAL HOMEWORK** **DUE TOMORROW**
Students are in the process of beginning
their own Writer’s Workshop Notebook.
This notebook will be kept at school and used daily in class for
students to work in. For tomorrow’s
assignment, students need to bring in a special picture or item that holds a
special memory or event that they would like to write about. This item will be taped into their journal,
so be sure it is an item that they can keep at school. In class we have discussed different items
that students may want to bring; pictures, movie ticket stub, letter from a
friend or family member, label from their favorite food, etc. The possibilities are endless. Students were asked on Monday to begin
thinking about what item they would like to bring. We need this item TOMORROW!
